Program duration is 400 hours which is administered over a 5 month period depending on Stat holidays, lab days.
Is the program considered full time or part time?The program is considered full time, Monday through Friday, 4 hours each day at one of three time periods.
How about class size and times?There are three groups of three students each. Each group is independent of each other and doesn't share studio time or resources. There is a morning group which goes between 9:00AM and 1:00PM There is an afternoon group which goes between 1:00PM and 5:00PM and an evening group which goes between 5:00PM and 9:00PM
How about financial assistance and is the program accredited?The program is accredited with the Private Career Training Institutions Agency of B. C. www.pctia.bc.ca and designated with the Ministry of Education Student Services. As a result financial assistance through Canada Students Loans, or HRDC etc. funding may be available to you. *
How much studio time is provided?Of the 400 hours total instructional time, 240 hours are lecture time delivered on Tues, Wed, Thurs and 160 hours are practical lab time on Mon, Fri where the student will use the studio individually or as a group to practice what has been taught on the lecture days.
What is the cost of the program?The cost of the program is $8495 + $509.70 GST + $231.30 CDN for text and media supplies. All students pay for the program on 6 monthly installment payments. Full payment up front is not required.

How many students are personally referred to the program?Over 80% of the students enrolling in the program are referrals from either past students, word of mouth or industry professionals. Job placements and graduate employment continue to increase due to the attitude encouraged before students agree to enroll in the program and also as a direct result of employers observing the high degree of professionalism noted from their training.
When is the next AEP session starting?There are 2 session starts per year. One in the middle February and one in the middle of August.
How do I reserve my seat to the next session?If accepted to the program a $500 deposit will reserve your seat to the next start.
How about job referrals?Job referrals given to top graduates when available. At the conclusion of the program, job search techniques and studio databases are provided and discussed. (As is the case with any type of professional training, the referral or placement to employment is not assured nor guaranteed however AEP grads are doing very well with finding employment upon completion of their training)

As of August 1, 2000, students attending non-accredited schools and institutions will no longer be eligible for student loans and funding.
